Mark Kapatoes- Chief Executive Officer

Mark got his Insurance start in 1978 after graduating from Providence College with a BA in Marketing and Accounting.  He worked for then American Mutual, while receiving his Masters from Brown in Economics. He then started Kapatoes Insurance Services in 1981, and the dream was realized.  With the help of his family he created the largest insurance agency for Retail Health Food Stores in the Country.

He currently resides in Lake Mary, FL.

Dane Meisler - Vice President of Marketing

As the son of President Mark Kapatoes, Dane has been involved in the insurance industry all his life.  After graduating from Florida State University with a BA in Marketing, he joined the family business officially in 2004 after becoming licensed.  Dane specializes in all aspects of commerical insurance and currently runs the Warwick, RI office.

He currently resides in Conventry, RI with his wife Marissa.  When not working, you can find Dane spending time with friends and family, and avidly following his sports teams.

Carl Meisler- Vice President of Sales

In June of 2001 Carl began his insurance career at Kapatoes Insurance as a new commercial agent. Over the years he quickly developed a loyal book of business with a diverse clientele. He is dedicated to building long term relationships of trust, professionalism and friendship. Currently, Carl serves as the Vice President of Sales and Specializes in both Commercial and Personal Lines.

Born in Connecticut and eventually moving to RI in 1997 where he attended Johnson and Wales University in Providence, RI. He graduated with a Business Management degree and has never left the Ocean State. 

Away from the office, Carl enjoys spending quality time with his friends & family, golfing and maintaining a healthy life-style.

Amanda Dowd- Account Executive

Amanda joined the insurance industry in 2005 as an executive assistant and became licensed in 2006 holding various positions, including, Strategic Risk Assistant, Account Manager and Marketing Director. Amanda graduated University of Phoenix in 2010 with a B.A. in Business Finance. Amanda specializes in the Construction Industry. She joined the Kapatoes Insurance Team in 2011 as an Account Executive.

She currently resides in North Kingstown, RI with her husband Mike and daughter. Outside of motherhood, she enjoys traveling, gardening and spending time with friends and family.
